Although the service was somewhat idiosyncratic, as in the barman did not know how to unlock the cabinet with gin in it, and a 30 minute wait for a pre-dinner cocktail and 2 minutes to drink it before the food arrived etc, everything else was really very nice. food was excellent, and the rooms, including the bathrooms were lovely. friendly staff extensive breakfast buffet; and oh yes, the late cocktail was compted.
