Acceptable

We've been given a room with separate beds. you think it's normal for a married couple? then after a bit of conversation on the reception they changed the room to the one with huge bed. nice

Nice hotel but

Nice hotel with good location metro wise. interior very nice decor with loads of wood and marble and mirrors which give an elegant old world atmosphere. the breakfast was good with a nice variety even if repetitive. the fried eggs were particularly tasty. the rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. there was an incident with room cleaning but was rectified quickly when brought to notice- no more will be said about it! the only 'gripe i would have is the two alternating and elderly reception staff appeared to be always more concerned with their written work than attending to the quarries and requests from the guests, with an attitude of "we're finished here" but god love them they were from an different era. but overall, a nice hotel and good value for money. would stay again.

Hotel gran conde duque

Hotel di ottimo livello, personale gentilissimo e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. per quanto riguarda la posizione l'hotel è vicino alla metropolitana ma il centro a piedi è un pò lontano, circa 20 minuti. l'unica pecca la colazione, veramente scarsa.

Lovely hotel conde duque

nestléd in a quaint setting so convenient to shopping and restaurants. lovely rooms, somewhat small but well appointed. one thing to tell travelers, is that there is no shampoo or lotions in the room. surprising..just a universal soap dispenser on the wall and in the tub . not nice. also, no wireless service for computers in the room. only the lobby. not convenient for the business traveler nor for the individual who needs some privacy. the buffet for breakfast is wonderful & very good value. the dog park just down the street is noisy as people will take their dogs at all hours..

Sehr schönes stadthotel

Der service ist sehr gut, das frühstück sogar hervorragend. personal sehr freundlich und kompetent. die lage ist gut, insb. weil sehr ruhig gelegen. u-bahn etwa 300m oder 5 min entfernt, fahrzeit in die innenstadt 5 min, geringe wartezeiten, zu fuss etwa 30 min zur innenstadt. der einzige nachteil ist die - allerding extreme - hellhörigkeit der zimmer. insg. sehr gutes preis-/leistungsverhältnis!

A very pleasant stay

Can thoroughly recommend this hotel. we stayed here for 3 nights on a weekend break and it's a really nice hotel in a fairly quiet location (we did get woken on the friday and saturday by some shouting, drunk young men i think but then we stayed when football was on!) which overlooks a lovely garden area to the front. rooms were quite small but very very clean and the bathroom was also very clean too. only downside is that there were not tea and coffee making facilities. staff are friendly and most speak english. breakfast selection was fantastic, although unfortunately i couldn't make the most of it as got food poisoning while away (not from the hotel i hasten to add!) really do recommend this hotel we'd definitely stay here again, and the price we got was very reasonable too.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

Prenotando tramite hotelsclick ho pagato un prezzo molto competitivo (con colazione compresa) rispetto a quelli di altri siti di prenotazioni alberghiere. l'hotel si trova vicino alla fermata metro san lorenzo che collega diverse attrazioni della città. a piedi si raggiunge la gran via in 10/15 minuti percorrendo la calle san bernardo. l'hotel ha una bella hall e camere abbastanza spaziose e pulite.un grande difetto, invece, è quello dell'insonorizzazione. infatti si sentono chiaramente i vicini di stanza mentre si fanno la doccia...quasi come se stessero nel tuo stesso bagno! comunque i bagni sono funzionali e con un buon set cortesia. la colazione è a buffet ed è abbastanza ricca. direi che l'hotel è un 4 stelle medio...non di lusso o bellissimo ma sempre 4 stelle.

Excellent value for money. pleasant setting away from noise of grand via but close enough (just three stops on metro). very prettily decorated entrance ready for christmas. helpful staff. good selection of buffet breakfast

Conde duque - 4star publicity, 2 star aftertaste!

The hotel was quite nice but the room was much smaller than expected when compared with publicity. also the brochure had a picture of a very nice roof sun terrace, when we asked reception for access we were told there wasn't one. we then asked to use the gym and were advised it is not actually in the hotel and was closed, this was on saturday afternoon! unfortunately we did not feel that we had stayed in a 4 star hotel at the end of the visit.
