Bien que situé au centre de Tampere, cet hôtel bénéficie d'un emplacement magnifique et unique, qui en fait certainement un établissement de haute qualité. Il est possible d'aller nager dans le lac en sortant du sauna. Great location - shame about the broken mirror!
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights (11-15.10.07) and had a large light room overlooking the lake. great. we've stayed here before and knew what to ask for. the location of the hotel is wonderful, finnish breakfast plentiful and very very good with local produce on offer. you can eat as much as you want and as long as you like (6:30 - 10:00am). however, the room we were allocated had a large mirror in the 'hall' and it was shattered in many places. health & safety risk - so we informed the front desk. they promised to tell housekeeping and get it replaced. nothing happened about the mirror during our stay... not even tape on top of the broken part of the mirror to make it secure. shame. our very pleasant stay was somewhat ruined by the mirror, after all we could not avoid it, as it was next to the bathroom door. the hotel could have so easily avoided this by just not using the room with a broken mirror when the hotel was nothing like full. an oversight, maybe. easy one to avoid - yes! having said all of that, i happily give this hotel another chance as the location / room size / breakfast make up for this lapse in maintenance.
