Hotel elegante, camera tripla ampia, servizio discreto. molto gentili e disponibili alla reception. camere moderne e pulite. letti comodi. ottima la colazione. zona tranquilla, vicino al mare, forse leggermente lontano dalla metro ma servito da pulman e vicino ad una fermata del "turistic bus" per il quale hanno in vendita il biglietto giornaliero. parcheggio molto comodo.

We booked this hotel blind off the hotelsclick site not knowing what to expect. whilst the hotel is out of the city of barcelona, there is a bus stop outside and the ramblas can be reached via a short and cheap bus ride. a short walk takes you to a lovely beach area with restaurants. the hotel itself cannot be faulted. the rooms are huge with great facilities - separate areas for computer desk, 'kitchen' area and bed. our room rate included breakfast which was an american version hence a cooked breakfast.the pool area was large and clean with a separate area to have snacks from the kitchen. it also had an outdoor hot tub and enclosed gym, sauna and steam room. i will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in barcelona.

We picked this hotel as we were attending a conference at the ccib. it's a little further away than i expected (25-30mins walk), but easily walkable and very close to the beach, which was lovely. also walkable to barcelonetta and las ramblas area (20-30mins in the other direction) so all in all very well located for us. the rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. there is a pleasant outdoor area for drinks next to the lobby, a small-ish pool and good steam-room/sauna. breakfast has the pleasingly long hours of 7-11. staff were helpful and efficient. there were a few disappointments from a service point-of-view: teabags and mini-bar were not re-stocked for the entire 8-night stay; the hotel bar was closed by 2330. if you plan to swim or go to the beach you should probably pack your own towel: they will provide you with towels for these but charge 3 euros each, they don't allow bathroom towels by the pool. that aside, we were very happy with our stay and i'd happily stay there again.

This is the third time i have been to this but this time their lunch time food was disappointing - lack of topping on the pizza compared to previous visits. also the price of drinks increased in the evening and the service in the evening for drinks was poor. also, our toilet broke and it took at least 18 hours to repair. i think the communication betweeen staff at changeover at reception was the problem as i seemed to be repeating myself to different shifts.

Having stayed at the hotel 5 years ago it didn't dissappoint me from what i remembered. excellent location far enough away to not be noisy but easy walking to the centre and the hustle & bustle. and beach only minutes away. staff friendly and helpful especially in helping organising excursions and travel.
