Saratoga

A great hotel and location, nice rooms, lovely bar and fantastic rooftop pool but average restaurant and breakfast is extremely over priced. we went a street down and ate breakfast at another hotel for 1/3 the price.

Overpriced and slow service

This hotel is overpriced. it has dirty rooms. the service is extremely slow. the wait staff is rude. the pictures look nicer than the hotel does in person.

Hotel saratoga

We loved our stay at hotel saratoga. we got engaged on the rooftop overlooking the capital building and downtown havana. it was beautiful. very glad we chose this area for something so special. the staff was very warm and saw to all of our needs. the hotel is a full four star hotel in the united states in my opinion. the room price was that of a five star. the internet service is dial up speed or just above, and not dependable. those would be my only criticisms. aside from price, the stay was amazing and i would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great stay!

Hotel saratoga is a very nice hotel in a great location near old havana. we liked the responsive staff for checking in and changing money as well as the concierge. on the mezzanine level there is a bar area with tv and piano that is a great place to have a cigar and a drink. the rooftop bar and pool is great and the views of old havana are outstanding. the rooms have lots of amenities such as separate shower and tub, 110v and 220v outlets, soap, lotion and shampoo complimentary, room safe and comfortable beds. not a cheap place to stay, but lots of 4 star like benefits a us, canada or european traveler will enjoy.

Amazing hotel in the heart of havana

One of the best hotels i have ever stayed in my life. it might seem that the price is high but is totally worth it; and let me tell you it is not that much more expensive than other hotels like the meliá cohiba or hotel nacional. if you are trying to pick between those three hotels, do not hesitate and book at hotel saratoga, it is a gem! let me start by saying that it is a boutique hotel with a rooftop pool that overlooks the capitol and all havana. it has the best view in the whole city. on top of that, it is exquisitely renovated. every space in the hotel is gorgeous, from the lobby, to their restaurants, to the rooftop, and wait until you see your room, great space, comfortable beds, gorgeous bathrooms, both the bathtub and the shower were marvelous. the service was great as well, our room was cleaned three times a day, and everything refilled and put back in their place every time. one day we were charged incorrectly for breakfast and they were so courteous about it and wave the whole amount. even when we left the hotel, the cleaning staff left a little note wishing us a safe trip. finally, every time that we will be back from walking around in havana under the high heat, it was like stepping in heaven, since there is always a piano player at the mezzanine playing beautiful tones. it was a perfect stay and a perfect experience. we loved it!

Vacaciones en la habana

Inolvidables vacaciones en la habana, cuba. el hotel se encuentra en una zona centrica donde puedes deleitar tu vista en la vida cotidiana de la habana. cuenta con un excelente personal con un trato agradable y una comida exquisita. estoy feliz por elegir este hotel.

Grand finale of our cuban adventure!

The saratoga was a welcome respit after a week sailing in cuba. we arrived weary travelers and we quickly relaxed in the luxury of your hotel. it was the perfect place to be for the final days of our cuban adventure. we were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend the saratoga hotel.

Gran 5 stelle di cuba!

Un fantastico hotel nei pressi dell'avana vecchia e di fronte al capitolio. camere enormi e dotate di ogni comfort. la terrazza panoramica con bar e piscina all'aperto è una vera meraviglia.. il tutto con vista sulla cupola del capitolio. ottima anche la colazione con vasta scelta di prodotti. il personale è sempre stato gentile e disponibile. uno dei migliori hotel a l'avana. consigliato!

Excelente relación calidad/precio

Muy buena localización para conocer la habana vieja. ambiente colonial, bonita decoración de calidad. dado el estado de la ciudad en un descanso volver al hotel. tal solo encuentro escandalosamente caro el desayuno por 22€.

Perfect hotel in old havana

Amazing area of havana, the saratoga is a little oasis with its rooftop pool and incredible views. the staff are friendly and attentive. made for a perfect hotel.

Very disappointing experience

We went on a two week tour of cuba and mexico. we booked two rooms at this hotel, being the most expensive out of all others that we stayed in during our two week trip, for our last night in havanna which was our biggest mistake. our stay at this hotel was a nightmare from start to finish. our stay here was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. the hotel does not deserve a 5 star rating. it is a 3 star standard at best.
