I've been staying at the royal hotel in turin during the weekend of artissima and paratissima. i knew the neighborough enough to know it is comfortable if you have a car and wish to avoid the parking mess of a central hotel. if you don't, then it takes 20 minutes by bus to reach downtown. forniture are old style and the bathtub, albeit modernized with shower, is really old but - that's important! - very clean. the internal parking lot has an additional price of 12-14€ while continental breakfast was included in the price - 65€ - and for two people is more than fair! free wifi. during breakfast time i also noticed all the guest were under 30!
