This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location that had many positive sides however there were a lot of faults that i felt as a 4 star hotel would need to be addressed with immediate effect. the room had a shower with a fluctuating temperature so one moment you were being scolded and the next moment you were getting ice cold water. not a pleasant experience! there was no mini bar and the internet for wi-fi was ridiculously poor. there were no tea or coffee making facilities which is usual even for a standard 2 star hotel. the floor in the living room was dirty and there was no shampoo, conditioner or mini toothpaste in the bathroom which again i thought would be standard for a 4 star hotel. the beds were horrendous. very cheap and they moved and scraped against the floor if you even sat on them let alone anything else. also my partner and i received twin beds and not a double bed which was really annoying but i think this was probably the fault of hotelclicks and not the hotel itself and it should have stated that on the hotelclicks information. on the positive side and forgetting the room the pool area was decent although the jacuzzi wasn't working properly. the rest of the hotel i saw was clean and neat and the reception staff were very good. the bar was ok in almost all aspects although the service was quite slow. there were good drink and food prices, the act performing was fine and the atmosphere pretty ok. i would need convincing to go to the hotel again due to the many problems with the room but the rest of the hotel was fine.
