Great stay

We stayed at the renaissance amsterdam on the 15th -17th may. we arrived to amsterdam centraal late on the friday evening, the hotel was so easy to find and was only a 5 min walk away from centraal. this hotel is in a great location, 2 mins away from the damrak and the red light and only a short walk along canals to anne frank's house. the room and the hotel itself were excellent, so clean and friendly, the room was lareg and spacious.. and the bed was the comfiest i have ever slept on in a hotel.

Booking cancellation

I was advised at check in that my booking was cancelled by the booking agency hotelsclick. the receptionist advised there was nothing further he could do about it. hotelsclick insisted that the booking was still active - i was charged, but did not receive the service that i paid for. i have not received an satisfactory explanation of what happened. i had to book accommodation elsewhere in the city at higher expense. the receptionist in the hotel made no effort to discover how the issue arose. hotelsclick had a recorded message on their helpline and i was unable to speak with an agent to resolve the issue. i had a very poor experience of your hotel.

Muy buen hotel por la situación y por las habitaciones, aunque un hotel de su categoría debería de tener wifi gratis al menos en la zona lobby
