Nice place to stay

The location is fab, just opposite the gothic cathedral it allows easy walking access to the rambla, catalunya sq,gothic qtr, picasso museum and marina. it is a little noisy at night but more during the week and no so at weekends. then again after a few hrs drinking sangria on la rambla you just fall into bed. the hotel itself is good, clean, friendly and nice breakfasts. we went as a couple and it was perfect, if we were taking the kids next time we may go for one a bit quieter - not sure what the family rooms are like or if they have any? get instructions on how to use the safe - it is complicated but works well when you know what you are doing! the bus from the airport stops at pl cataunya - 500m away and all the tour buses go from there too so really handy.

Great location, friendly staff

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in march. really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. the location is fantastic as it is just beside la cathedral and the hotel itself was very clean. the room was actually bigger than we were expecting and the staff were very helpful and friendly. the only negative was that because it was pre-tourist season the air conditioning was turned off even though the room was extremely warm with weather at the early twenties during the day. also if you are a light sleeper this hotel may not be the best option as there is street noise from about 6am every morning that is very noisy such as bottle banks being emptied. also the walls itself were very thin and we could hear full conversations from people in the rooms next to us.

Freundliches hotel für freundliche leute

Wir hatten das hotel regencia colon gebucht und wurden am empfang dieses hotels davon benachrichtigt, dass man uns ohne mehrkosten in das 4-sterne hotel "colon" umgebucht hat. also ein komfortableres hotel ohne jegliche mehrkosten. das war die erste gute überaschung. dann wurden wir in unser doppelzimmer gebracht, was sehr freundlich eingerichtet war und wir sehr sauber vorfanden. zu jeder zeit wird man hier freundlich beraten. auch das frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend. alles frisch, auch der o-saft wird frisch gepreßt. der zimmerservice ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen.

Hotel regenciacolon

Ottima la posizione dell'hotel,praticamente nella piazza della cateddrale da cui si giunge in pochi minuti la rambla del mar.facilmente raggiungibile dall'aereoporto con il comodo aereobus che ha il suo capolinea in piazza catalunya a non più di 5 minuti a piedi dall'hotel.pulito,ottima la colazione e gentile il personale.sarà certamente il "mio hotel"per le prossime visite alla città.
