Stayed for 5 days at pullman melbourne on the park and enjoyed our visit very much. the hotel is well-located and a lovely 20 minute walk through treasury gardens to the city centre. the porters on arrival and departure are exceptional and the reception staff were excellent. the foyer is quite gorgeous and the restaurant was constantly humming and very popular. our room was small but clean and tidy however i felt that for a 4star establishment, some of the little touches were lacking. our room had 2 queen beds to accommodate 3 people but only 2 pillows per bed. the mini bar was sparse, only a couple of cups and minimal tea and coffee available. although the room was lovely, the bathroom was in need of upgrade with peeling wallpaper, no vent and visible mould. movie channel is expensive and you have to subscribe to accor to access the wifi. considering the room price, we had hoped there would be some inclusions. usually, i'm happy to just have a holiday but when staying at an establishment like this, i do expect more.
