Soggiorno breve

Per soggiornare al piccolo hotel il palio, ci vuole spiccato spirito di adattamento. il prezzo seppur il più basso del giorno a siena, è troppo elevato rispetto alla qualità delle camere. il posto è anche rumoroso, seppur comodo per il centro!

Due giorni a siena

Cercavo un albergo a poco prezzo per un breve soggiorno a siena e in generale non posso lamentarmi del piccolo hotel il palio. ottima posizione, anche per chi si sposta in tram, prezzo modico e giusto per il tipo di struttura. personale molto gentile e disponibile, tranne dopo le 19.30 perché la reception chiude e (cosa negativa) nessuno risponde neanche al telefono. il bagno è piccolo e un po' scomodo, e consiglierei maggiore attenzione agli asciugamani (uno di quelli che ho trovato in stanza aveva un piccolo buco). in ogni caso è una buona soluzione per chi vuole spendere poco a siena.

Comodo ma....

Hotel comodo per la posizione, certo prezzo non alto, ma la camera veramente basic, pulita pgni 3 giorni.....no aria condizionata nei giorni piu caldi dell anno...spendi poco e hai poco.....ho visto di meglio!

Hotel located in the historic part of siena - convenient location. terms amenities good (small bathroom, towels, cleaning). a good starting point to explore the city.

I love this hotel!

I booked this hotel three months ago before arriving in july, for its medieval style in the small hilly town of siena, and enjoyed so much that i only wish i could've stayed a little longer! it really added unforgettable memory to our trip to italy (and how can one finish his/her trip to italy without visiting siena!) - the old style decor, the breakfast buffet, and needless to mention, the friendly and very accommodating hostesses barbara and jannicke (i took a picture of her! see attached), are all the unforgettable experience to me and my family! i would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to visit siena. thanks to barbara, who helped me with hotel check-in on the phone when we were stuck at termini in rome because a major bus/train strike on the day when we left there, so our sena bus did not depart until after 6:30pm, so barbara instructed me over the phone as how to get into the hotel rooms late that night. only one little thing: our bedroom with a balcony is facing piazza del sale so it gets a bit noisy in the morning due to busy traffic, and it would be nicer if the rooms had ac. but all in all, this is a hotel you definitely want to stay to enjoy! vivian boston, usa p.s. i really would like to attach some photos but apparently there is some problem... have to give up after many tries ;(

Bad hotel

The bathroom is very small plastic shell (similar to what you see on train). questionable cleanliness. shower curtain does not work properly. very noisy place. the breakfast is bad. however, the receptionist was nice and helpful.

Nice

Nice, small hotel on the outskirts of centro storico, 10 minutes of walk through old part of the city to the plaza del campo. so location very good, staff nice and friendly, rooms ok but bit noisy in the morning on the street side (despite of limited traffic), breakfast ok. you can drive the car up to the hotel but later you have to take it and park it in the garage (15€ per day, 5 min walk back) or outside the walls of the city (free). altogether very good.

Good hotel

The staff were very helpful. we enjoyed our stay. the shower in rm 229 was great!
