Stayed after papal mass

We had a great stay at the marriott after papal mass on 9/27/15. staff were wonderful--- friendly, calm even though the city was crowded with people attending the various events surrounding pope francis' visit. we got into our room early, which was very helpful. room was very clean and comfortable. hotel location is superb. special thanks to ross at front desk (who helped me earlier in week) and claudette at baggage claim--- as there was a slight problem finding my checked bag. we got an excellent price on hotelsclick.com, even though i had never heard of it before.

Bustling with activity

The hotel lobby is a hopping spot. this hotel is big and the busy lobby shows how popular it is. the rooms are nicely decorated and very generous compared to nyc hotels. the ones that have a view, have a spectacular view - the others look out at uninspiring buildings. there are conventions and weddings galore here so be prepared for music thumping if your room is near the banquet areas.

Centrally located

It's across the street from the reading terminal, so we went there for breakfast. reception was really busy, so they were giving out lemonade! but then our room was very quiet, despite the crowds. the beds were firm and really comfortable. the pool was nice, but cold. the only minus was that parking cost $45 a day. we saved $30 by parking two blocks away.
