Nh amsterdam grand hotel krasnapolsky

I could not find any fault with this hotel at all. the staff were very helpful , the rooms were spotless and booking through hotelclick.com was so easy. i would definately stay there again and i will be using hotelclick.com for future bookings.

5 star was 3- star

The hotel was supposed to be 5 star and what they did not tell was that there is part of rooms which have beed renovated which probably are 5 star but the there is part of rooms which are shabby and you smell stale cigarette smell and even the corridors smell bad. i would rate these rooms old motel type. the reception gave us wrong info about wifi so we could not get it to work. if hotel has different type of rooms they should state it clearly in their website. the location was excellent and the main reason we chose the hotel. we complained of the room when we left and they promptly send us apologies by mail so that was good.

Great hotel

Krasnapolsky hotel is a great place to stay it is centrally located - we arrived early and if they have a room available you can check in immediately - we were given breakfast although we didn't book breakfast comes with buck's fizz !!! hotel lobby and bars are beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable - nothing is too much trouble and the staff are polite and helpful -

Gradevole

Dopo un impatto assolutamente sgradevole, con una addetta alla reception arrogante e poco propensa alla buona ospitalità, il soggiorno si è rivelato assolutamente piacevole. di indubbia qualità il servizio e il personale. molto accoglienti le strutture di ristorazione e di svago con la qualità del cibo eccellente e la cortesia indiscutibile dei loro operatori. solo la stanza, del tipo standard, per quanto finemente arredata, non ha pienamente soddisfatto le mie aspettative fornendo pochissimo spazio per la sistemazione del vestiario che, per un soggiorno di 5 giorni, per due persone, è ovvio non poteva consistere in un paio di cambi. in definitiva, però, il soggiorno è stato decisamente gradevole.

Break away in the heart of amsterdam

What a lovely hotel, nice ambience and a warm welcome. was given our room number and was shown a very nice room in the old block. it was a shame however that the toilet/bathroom doors had a good inch gap and did not close. we were quickly shown another room in the new block which unfortunately was not suitable but the problem was promptly sorted with a further new room. amazing breakfast - the buffet was superb -probably the best i have ever seen in my travels around the world. in a prime location for shopping visiting sights etc. would definately recommend and visit again.

The grand krasnapolsky hotel, amsterdam

I defy anyone to find one negative aspect of this lovely hotel. we were early for check-in, and tired after a terrible journey from copenhagen, so were very pleased to be upgraded to a superior room. at all times the front office staff were friendly, professional, efficient, helpful and courteous under pressure, and i emphatically include the concierge in that category; he had a delightful sense of humour. the location could not be bettered; all major attractions were within walking distance, and if one lost one's bearings, virtually every tourist signpost pointed the way to dam square. also, there was an abundance of eating places in the immediate vicinity. i had a small problem with the business services, which is why i was unable to rate it as highly as it probably deserves. i had been issued a 5 euro voucher, which barely got me connected (time-wise) and then my documents did not print. however, the reception staff were extremely helpful and did my printing for me. potentially, the business services are first-class, and it is obvious that great care has been taken to provide access to the latest technology. the wifi in my room worked perfectly. the winter garden, where we had breakfast, was a joy; beautiful decor, modelled on the gracious palm court days of yesteryear. breakfast was plentiful and catered for every imaginable taste and culture, it was also very fresh. one observation here: the freshly-fried eggs are cooked on the opposite side of the buffet from where the other hot foods are located, so the bacon was always cold by the time i sat down to eat.

It's the best place in ams.

It was the second visit to the hotel. for it was confortable stay for its price at the first time. this time,also confortable,too.especially its breakfast at the winter garden was good.the room was calm and clean. i'll visit again, if possible.

Good location, not a 5 stars

The hotel is centrally located, in the very centre of amsterdam, so everything is at walking distancce. the entrance hall is very impressive, but there are two different buildings with different room kinds, and ours was not like a 5 stars hotel. it needs reforms. personal very agreable, and helped us. good breakfast

Escogi este hotel por situación y categoria, no me equivoque. pero no espereis encontrar un hotel modernisimo o tal vez con las cinco * nuestros, hay que tener en cuenta lo carismático del mismo. personalmente repetiria.

Hotel stupendo. un 5 stelle che le merita tutte e ad un ottimo prezzo vista la posizione e la qualità dell'albergo!! la camera e il bagno erano enormi e pulite ogni giorno e la colazione era abbondantissima. il personale cordiale e disponibile e l'hotel si trova esattamente a piazza dam, noi siamo arrivati a piedi dalla stazione centrale in 10 minuti.

Ottima la posizione, le camere sono spaziose, ma un appunto negativo devo farlo nei confronti del bagno che pur essendo spazioso non aveva i miscelatori e l'arredamento era davvero obsoleto.per il resto, la colazione ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative.comunque ci ritornerei.

Superb location

We have stayed here twice a year for the last six years the staff are always helpful and courteous as long as you treat them as humans, remember they are people too!! we see too many expecting the earth, remember what is possible and what is not. the breakfast is a lovely room and has everything one could ask for. will book again soon.
