Very comfortable - superior room

We stayed 4 nights - hotel just on the edge of the old town - very clean and modern inside - great room - good beds gave a good nights sleep - shower and bathroom were good - place was ultra clean - good breakfast

Some confusion with payment

This hotel tried to charge me again for my two nights stay. i had the sense to bring along my bank statement that showed payment but not with either hotels click or the name of the hotel, i then found the printout that also said i'd paid and all miraculously solved. no payment needed. the hotel, like many others had late night drilling and concrete chipping that appeared to come from somewhere inside the hotel. it wasn't constant but just when i'd dozed off again there would be a surge of noisy activity. the staff pleaded ignorance with a shrug of their collective shoulders.

Changement de programme

Quelle ne fut pas notre surprise en arrivant à l'hôtel domina inn city le 11 août dernier de nous entendre dire qu'il n'y avait pas de chambre pour nous (pourtant réservée depuis le mois de février) et que nous étions transférés à l'hôtel domina ilmarine situé à vingt minutes du centre de la vieille ville. nous avions choisi domina inn city pour sa situation très centrale et profiter au maximum pendant deux jours de l'atmosphère de la vielle ville. l'hôtel domina ilmarine est un hôtel*** confortable mais où défilent des groupes. c'est dire le nombre de personnes qui font la file pour le petit déjeuner et le bruit qui s'en suit. le personnel fait son job sans plus et ne salue aucun client. en rentrant chez moi, et en reconsidérant les sites des deux hôtels, j'ai constaté que les prix avaient augmenté à l'hôtel domina inn city depuis le mois de février et que c'était sans doute la raison du changement. nous trouvons cela très peu respectueux du client. nous avions dû "essuyer" la grève des bagagistes à bruxelles, la perte de notre bagage, et voilà que notre chambre n'était plus disponible !! il y avait de quoi être déçus. malgré cela nous avons apprécié un jour de soleil dans la vieille ville de tallinn et nous espérons que nos prochains voyages seront moins mouvementés.

Never again

Hotel was otherwise ok but we had to pay a minibarbill. this was bad because we did not take anything from our minibar. they said we had taken some chokolade and crisps. the bill was considerate -over 200 ekr. i guess the cleaner lady had put some other room`s minibar record into our tab. anyway, they did not believe us and we had to pay. we were also ripped off by a taxidriver who manipulated the taxometer with cellurar phone and we had to pay 280 ekr for a trip from viking terminal to hotel. i guess there are less honest people in estonia.. our room was otherwise ok but there was a locked door to the next room and this caused a sound problem..
