Not a four star hotel but excellent location. rooms and ensuite are great size, shower pressure was great. it is an old creeky hotel and the water pipes make an awful racket when you run a tap or flush the toilet. decor a bit grotty. continental breakfast included was good but i had to ask 3 times for tea/coffee for myself and the table beside me. overall i would recommend.

Stayed here with for two nights may 2007. the rooms are clean and comfortable, we didn't come to london to spend our time in the room. the hotel is very close to the gloucester road underground station allowing easy access to shops and sightseeing. there is a bus stop outside the hotel as well. the restaurant for breakfast was good, plenty of choice. staff at reception was available to help at all times. we would return and also recommend this hotel when next visiting london.
