I specifically booked this hotel for location and parking, i paid in advance due to driving into barcelona from southern spain. on arrival we were told sorry but they had overbooked and we would be moved to another hotel. the other hotel was awful and the same charge was made on my credit card......it was a scam in my opinion

This hotel was excellent for the week we spent there ,on arrival i got an upgrade which took me to the 22nd floor overlooking the city and the sea and was fine it also gave access to the lounge on the 22nd floor which i could have used more than i did .i would like to compliment the 2 ladies on reception on the 25th floor and also the catering crew there ,they were really good and friendly also the reception crew this might not suit everybody as a hotel as it is a bit out of town but there is a metro station within 5 mins of the hotel with trains every 5 mins or less .importantly the area is quite safe and looks like it is undergoing regeneration of some sort
