Great stay

The luna was clean and the staff were very helpful. booked through hotelclick and got a great deal. the area is a little remote but very close to the beach. great roof pool and bar

Molto buono

Struttura buon rapporto qualita' prezzo camera spaziosa e confortevole angolo cottura completo, buona posizione vicino alla spiaggia, locali, market e autobus (non molto affidabili), personale cordiale e disponibile.

Vacanza a malta

Buon albergo , personale cortese , pronti al saluto ed a rispondere alle domande . camera pulita ogni tre giorni anche se il contratto diceva una volta a settimana . non danno il sapone a parte il pezzettino all'arrivo .

Good for a short stay

We had a nice stay at luna - it was close to the beach and just down the road from where we were diving so it was convenient. breakfast was good, and other food was reasonably priced and tasty (pizza and burger). the pool could have been open longer though so we could swim in the evenings (closed at 5.30 downstairs, but rooftop was open until 7). pool bar was never open, would have been nice to have a drink poolside! location was good, right outside are bus stops to go to ferry terminal to gozo/comino as well as toward valletta. the room facing the road is a bit noisy but we had the fan on every night so blocked it out mostly. if you're a light sleeper, ask for a seaside room. staff were all really friendly.

Desastre

Wifi en habitaciones un extra de 10€ aire acondicionado pagar extra. las vista de la habitación al mar...si puedes girar la cabeza 260º... es un hotel para dormir y poco mas, no elijas este hotel, malta tiene mejores hoteles por 60€ la noche..

Hotel comodo e pulito

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana a prezzo ragionevole in camera /appartamento buona pulizia hotel con arredi un pochino datati bagno da sistemare(ma altre camere erano state rinnovate) colazione a buffet essenziale poco fantasioso.nel complesso bene il personale è veramente ok,gentile e disponibile nonostante qualcuno faccia fatica ancora con la lingua italiana!

Wouldn't recommend

You have to pay extra for the wifi each night and the connection isn't even good, it wouldn't work a lot of the time. terrible shower as explained below.

Nice holidays

It was a nice suprise to find out that hotel is so clean and nice looking. location is great to go to beach or going up the hill to go to restaurant. if you want to eat something teasty don't eat anything in seeside bar.

Good value for money

For a 3 star hotel, this hotel was really quite nice. it was fantastic value for money and only a short stroll away from mellieha bay. staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

You may lose your personal belongings in luna hotel

While checking out, please double or even triple check that you took out all your personal belongings. afterwards, if you realize that you left sth in your room, you will never have a chance to get in back. it simply vanish from the place where you left it and all hotel staff claim no one have ever seen it. in such conditions i lost a cosmetics bag containg a number of stuff. even notifying the hotel general manager about the issue will not change your situation as he simply does not care about the guests personal belongings. he admits all stuff left in the room and found after your checking out is treated by the hotel as a rubbish. however, can anyone imagine that part of your luggage means nothing for the hotel staff and is thrown away or stolen?! i lost 50 eur, maybe more, taking into consideration my lost belongings, which is not that much, but i'm just sad that such treatment could take place in 21st century, in eu country. therefore, if you do not want to have bad memories with your holidays, i suggest you double think it over while choosing luna hotel as your place to stay on malta.

Tutto sommato, un buon compromesso

Abbiamo pagato molto poco, quindi non ci possiamo lamentare. tuttavia, la camera era molto datata e non molto confortevole: se prenotate, chiedete una stanza in uno dei blocchi rinnovati. per il resto, nulla da dire: posizione perfetta per la spiaggia sabbiosa più grande di tutta l'isola (con un mare davvero bello e pulito), così come per spostarsi praticamente ovunque in bus facilmente e velocemente, a qualsiasi ora. il personale è molto gentile e alla reception sono molto efficienti. per chi sceglie l'opzione self-catering (stanza studio/appartamento), gli asciugamani vengono cambiati dopo un paio di giorni e le lenzuola dopo circa cinque. ci sono due piscine, tre punti di ristoro, il wi-fi gratis nella hall e quasi ogni sera viene organizzata una cena/serata speciale con buffet e musica.

A hotel with a good location (near sandy beach)

Big hotel with a good location - near sandy beach. our friends stay in a standard room, which was a quite noisy (windows towards the street), so the changed to superior room (like our room), which windows were towards the yard. spacy room, kitchenette`s equipment was a little bit poor for those, who would like to cook more, but it was ok for us. a bus station and a minimarket near the hotel.

Good location

Very good location- near the best beaches (mellieha, golden, riviera) and for travelling around the island, gozo, comino. good price, nice pool. air condition in superior studio room worked terrible.

Good holiday

It was a great holiday in a good hotel. the rooms were exceptionally good both from the point of view of space and how the things were organised and the counrty view was relaxing. the rooms were also very clean when we went in but didn't have our towels changed or the room cleaned afterwards which was a dissapointment. overall it was a great and i would suggest it to others to visit and personally if i have the chance to go again i will surely do.
