A big old building, central location, absolutely fine for our needs (parents-in-law over 70). our room probably one of the smaller, older ones, but fine for a night or two. a few sirens at night, but, hey, this is london. free newspapers at reception, lovely receptionist, (1 lovely, 1 "a bit tired" i think) lift not working, but we have legs... everything worked fine, breakfast was straightforward (we had continental). i was annoyed at having to stay in a hotel as usually i stay with friends or family in london, but this hotel came up to scratch.
