A national park classic lodge

This a great spot to relax by the huge lawn, swim a bit in the lake if the weather is warm, and walk the miles of awesome rain-forest trails. my son and i enjoyed the pool table and indoor pool with a genuine deep end. the rooms are small but amazingly quiet for such an old building. the roosevelt room restaurant serves great food, not cheap but about what you'd expect for good quality food, even if you weren't a captive audience. the hotel is way out in the woods. it's not the right place for people who need a lot of action around them. not a lot of shopping. no theater. no tv's in the room... heaven.
