Nice clean hotel, managed to get a parking space in the hotel car park, even though we arrived late. welcoming staff and clean room with lovely walk in shower.

Not our first stay here -that says something! rooms ready when we arrived, as always immaculately clean. cheerful and very on the ball reception staff. did not use the dining room so cannot comment. value for money.

Stayed for 2 nights and honestly couldn't find anything wrong with it. excellent room, great service, good location and friendly staff. the price, compared to others we had looked at was competitive even taking into account the realtively small (£15) car parking charge for our whole stay. we will stay again next time.

The hotel was clean, freindly and ideally situated for walking around the centre of york. it was close to all the attractions and in a quiet part of the city.
