Good hotel, nice location
A bit of a walk from the tram, which would not be too good in the rain. could really do with a sign at the tram stop, as we really had no idea which way to go (saved by google maps). reception had a room on the first floor for us, which did not sound ideal, but quickly changed it for the 6th floor (looking over the water sports club) with no fuss, so we got a great view. great location for peace and quite and good views over regenerated salford quays. a short stroll to the lowry and war museum - both worth a visit and convenient tram into the centre. although not the best hotel breakfast i have had, it was decent with a good variety. very clean and comfortable room with great view. we were glad we chose here because, had we stayed in the centre, we would probably have missed out on salford quays.
