Due to the fact that direct booking was not possible, i found the offer on hotelclick. for me an unknown site, but i got a very nice help from a lady from the helpdesk. as you might know, this hotel is near the softbank seahawks baseball dome and many time fully booked with fans. the hotel is a real hilton, great entry with excellent and friendly staff. standard rooms are to small for europeans, so i got a nice upgrade for a executive suite (10.000 yen extra per night), but with breakfast, happy hour, afternoon thea, fitness and pool. the room was manificent and very big with a jaccuzi with seaview. executive lounge on floor 33 with breakfast. tourist menu on first floor, also good. the surrounding is perfect for running and just walking near the beach. all of course very clean like the japanese style. the only minus is the fact that to few staff member could speak sufficient english, but we could managed our requests.... easy travel by taxi (to hakata or tenjin-station), payment by credit possible, just check before entry (the doorman will help you). hilton fukuoka, we meet again!!!
