5 sternen-hotel ohne funktionstüchtige duschbrause

An einem unterkunft sollten meines erachtens grundsätzlich zwei dinge immer gewährleistet: eine schlafgelegenheit und eine vernünftige duschmöglichkeit. die erstere war gewährleistet. die letztere nicht und dann kann der rest auf höchstem niveau sein, es hilft aber bei einer bewertung. in meinem leben kann ich mich nicht daran erinnern, dass die duschbrause nicht funktioniert hat. in jedem jugendhergeberge in dem ich war konnte ich vernünftig duschen. nur im 5.sternen-hotel-hilton nicht! unglaublich! noch unglaublicher! meim check-out stellte ich fest, dass ein weiterer gast sauer war. warum? drei tage ohne funktionierende dusche hat er im hilton verbracht!

Eingeschränkt zufrieden

Die sehr gute zentrale lage und das ordentliche zimmer war ok. das kopfkissen und die deckeneinlage zwischen leintuch und matraze rochen grausig nach schweiß, was den schlaf nicht gerade förderte. habe ich aber an der reception gemeldet.

Alles wunderbar!

Everything about this hotel is great, i loved the room and fitness center + sauna :) we had a very nice stay there.

Location, location, location

I recently stayed here for 3 nights and it was fantastic. you couldn't have asked for a more central hotel. everthing was lovely, the room was a fine size, bathroom good and you could have anything you dreamed of for breakfast buffet which was partly table service. i think this hotel was well priced for what you got. i do have to say though that i'm not sure if it is a 5 star, probably a 4 star plus! just not as decadent as i would have wanted for a 5 star but can't fault it at all.

Passt schon

Das hotel liegt sehr zentral direkt am kölner bahnhof in einer ruhigen seitenstrasse. eigentlich ist alles schon sehr gut (frühstück, zimmer usw.) und das management bemüht sich seinen 5 sterne charakter zu erhalten. ein spitzenhotel ist es aber sicherlich nicht. als hotel für einen geschäftsaufenthalt in köln sicherlich eine gute wahl.

Cologne break.

Knowing cologne pretty well, this was my first stay there in a hotel, i arrived afer a long journey tired but was met with a very efficent friendly crew at check in . everything was up to scratch , the breakfast was really good, the usual excellent buffet of goodies to tide you over the day, did not need lunch as too full. room clean and quiet, lovley comfortable bed , lots of hot baths, so quiet on the second floor too. overall i would go back here on my next trip to cologne if i get a price deal like this again.
