Very disappointed in this hilton hotel

The hotel location is ideal, right on beach, but the hotel was a great disappointment. was given a room with a view of the hotel's a/c system, which made it extremely loud and hard to sleep. the lock on the sliding doors was broken, the safe was broken, the internet connection was terrible, the bathroom light kept going off, there was no water available for a morning shower, and no tea bags were left in the room to make tea to take to airport with us on our departure for a very early flight. the room was clean, and the hotel itself is very nice. has a very nice pool and pool bar.

Sugarsand beach vacation thanks hilton

I did alot of walking along the beach, and the hilton had the best beach. the hotel had just been remodeled in jan. 08. the hilton keeps a high standard. the resturant at the hotel had very good food, but a little pricy. most of the places to eat in the area were your locals type places. hardly any chain resturants. we forgot half of our swimwear. thankfully right next to the hotel was a swim and surf shop. and let me tell you, they had everything, and then some.we will definitely go back to clearwater, fl. we will fly next time. sincerely cooper.

Ultimate beach

Greatest location on the beach, fabulous sand, very wide beach. hotel and property very clean, very friendly staff. hotel was undergoing remodeling at the time although it did not bother us. many places to eat and drink within 2 blocks, from upscale to cheap. several places for a cheap breakfast near, subway across the street. excellent seafood restuarants near also. the pools were clean although we did catch a couple doing the wild thing in one of the pools late one evening. didn't swim in that one after that! adult beverages were around 7 dollars each. insane! no wonder no one was in the hotel bars. the hotel restaurants were reasonably priced although. every room appeared to have a balcony. hotelclicks was 30 dollars a night less than any other website i tried to book this hotel.

Perfect beach place

Perfect location to the beach and there is a good catering towards the kids. once construction is done, it should be great.

Best hotel in clearwater beach

The hilton clearwater beach resort is the best hotel in clearwater beach, period. it has the best location by far, a semi-private beach with a tiki bar and tent, chair, and umbrella rentals (cheap, and with drive-up drink ordering service). it is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the price isn't too bad, either, though it is more than some alternatives. these alternatives are usually off the beach and not as clean or inviting, however. the additional $100 or $150 is well worth it, trust me. i've stayed in clearwater beach plenty of times, and in this hotel the past 3...it's definitely the best.

Great location but very expensive local charges.

The location is great..right on the beach however they wanted $34 a day for a beach cabana. parking is also an additional charge to hotel guests $8 per day!! rooms were ok but a little smaller than the usual usa rooms.dissapppionted that we couldn't get into the room until well after 3pm. bathroom surface had to be re-cleaned upon request. staff were all very friendly.

Hilton clearwater - luxury and friendly staff

I thought it was hot and chillin and san fran but the hilton clearwater, its beach and pool area's really were just the tonic for a fantastic florida vacation. myself and my wife stayed here for two weeks at a brilliant price with hotelsclick.com and we got a normal room with a sea view. it was really a magic moment to watch the sun going down over the bay, romantic. as for the hotel - it was the quality of a hilton, good staff. the parking is $5 a day but the drinks on the beach were inexpensive as was the rest of florida! we spent a lot of time in the hotels recreational areas but also went off to explore st pete's, tampa, ybor city and the traditional trip to disney world of course. clearwater is a great little city, has some bars and nightlife but its not a spring break vacation like fort lauderdale so its great for families. wonderful, thanks a lot for a great holiday and i will be telling all my friends.
