Slightly disappointed

We booked our stay on 02/01/15 and free parking was advertised at this hotel, when we arrived on 31/01/2015 we were told that the hotel was no longer part of the legacy group and we had to pay £5.00 per parking charges - i have never paid to park in a hotel where i was a guest. the room we stayed in was ok but there were damp and mould patches in one corner of the room. all in all the hotel needs a refurbishment. full english breakfast - small to say the least. staff on reception were friendly and welcoming.

Delusione

Avevo soggiornato al falcon 6 anni fa e avevo trovato l'albergo piacevole, il servizio accurato e l'atmosfera davvero unica. quest'anno, invece, sono rimasta assai delusa. la reception è spesso vuota e bisogna aspettare, talvolta parecchi minuti, perché qualcuno arrivi; e, anche se chi ci lavora è veloce e attivo, si ha l'impressione che non siano là per farti sentire a tuo agio (se ci passi davanti non accennano neanche a un saluto) ma la cosa più sgradevole è l'impossibilità di aprire le finestre in camera se non di 3-4 centimetri e quei pochi centimetri di aria sono fermati da pesantissime tende inamovibili(sono bloccate 'per motivi di sicurezza!'); nonostante il fatto che la temperatura fuori fosse mite, le camere erano dei forni (e non soltanto la mia) e la sola cosa che ti proponevano era un ventilatore assai poco funzionale e certo non adoperabile durante la notte. insomma, mi sono sentita in prigione e per cinque giorni ho dormito in un'atmosfera malsana. il bagno, che non ha aperture all'esterno, non ha neanche un motorino per il ricambio dell'aria. non credo che ci tornerò.
