Excellent location, near to railway station, coach station and tram services and in easy walking distance of the historic city centre and other amenities. staff friendly, speak good english and very helpful. good continental style breakfast in the garden restaurant. rooms clean and quiet. will use again without a doubt.

Friendly service and good value for the service received. attentive staff and always a prompt service when requested. best recommendation ever - yes i would use again. plenty of services for a leisure break.

Old hotel full of history in the centre of the city, just steps to all the atractions, theatres and the main railway station. very warm welcome, nice and very friendly staff, clean and a great buffet breakfast.

Hervorragendes angebot von hotelsclick.com, aber vielleicht nicht das beste zimmer erwischt (lieferantenaufzug unter dem fenster). aber das ist fair, weniger bezahlen und nicht das allerbeste zimmer bekommen. der hotelservice war natürlich dennoch 1a.

I have one bed room.it was simply and clean. ba lifts were installed in the middle ages and the rooms are small and very simple. wireless internet is available in public areas but not free. you must pay for use lan internet connecion in room 10usd/daily or 4usd/hour btw, u can use internet with one mac pc in lobby for free. breakfast was very good and tasty.

The stay was nice, but the room was a bit antiquated and with very few light, the bathroom also. but the staff was very helpful. if it was remodelated it would be very very good

The location of this hotel could not be better. we have stayed at the grand several times. back in 2005 we had a room on the side which was small and nosy. but many of the rooms have been redecorated. meals and breakfast are good. staff - not all are the same, all help when you ask, but some are very pleasent others can be a bit sour.
