The hotel is a little tired but is great value for a hotel on the edge of temple bar. it is also in a quiet area. room was large with a sofa, comfortable bed with fresh linen, fresh towels and tv. one light wasn't working and i just mentioned it to the helpful lad on the reception, when we returned 2 hours later it was fixed!! breakfast was nothing special but better than expected and quite eatable. would stay here again

Decor and bedding very old and tired. lampshades in room were stained and filthy. blind on window didn't close.

Das hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, ein idealer ausgangspunkt für sightseeing und pub- und cafébesuche (sehr zu empfehlen das café-restaurant "queen of tarts"). besonders das personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (der fön war z. b. kaputt, aber das personal hat schnell für ersatz gesorgt). mein zimmer war sauber, allerdings war das bad etwas alt. insgesamt ein ordentliches, sauberes hotel, wenn man keine luxusansprüche stellt. für einen kurzaufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man zentral wohnen möchte (temple bar in ca. 5 min zu fuß), aber auch nicht rund um die uhr trubel braucht.

This hotel is ideally positioned for the centre of the nightlife. it's slightly off the main road but could, i imagine, be quite noisy at the weekend. room was basic and the blind needed fiddling with to close. hairdrier didn't work either but we were only there for one night. couldn't fault the hospitality of the staff. very helpful with things to do the following day. very good value for money really.
