El hotel la verdad es que esta muy bien para ser una antigua carcel la unica pega que le pondria es el suelo del cuarto de baño que era muy frio seguramente deberia tener suelo radiante y o no lo tenian enciendido o no supimos hacerlo. esta muy bien situado y mejor comunicado te pasa un tranvia y te para en la misma puerta y si llegas a helsinki con viking line esta al lado si llegas en otro ferri si te queda a desmano pero no es un problema

Hotel molto particolare, ricavato da un ex carcere, con stanze ampie e finestre alte. ben collegato al centro, raggiungibile in circa 10 minuti con il tram n. 4 che si ferma di fronte l'albergo. colazione abbondante.

Wow, what a experience :d very impressive feeling to be between those thick walls. you will get something what you never experienced before. restaurant is excellent. a lot of options for breakfast. sauna included in price was great.

La colazione era scadente, la stanza per i giochi era una confusione totale e sempre chiusa. film ed internet a pagamento, nonchè sauna.......mi aspettavo di più per il prezzo.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and can thoroughly recommend it. the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped and the service is first rate. the hotel is on a tram route into central helsinki but only a ten minute walk from the harbour and the major sights. if you are arriving from tallinn on the viking line, the katajanokka is a five minute easy walk from the viking terminal. very good value for money through hotelsclick.com

Albergo della catena best western realizzato all'interno di ex edificio penitenziario della fine dell'800, con un bello spazio esterno dove di estate, verso le 18:00, si tengono intrattenimenti musicali con aperitivo. ben collegato con il centro dal tram 4, ma anche a piedi (10-15 minuti, lungo la baia). la "cella" ha delle piccole finiestre in alto, non apribili, e anche il bagno è cieco, ricavato all'interno della "cella". nel complesso piacevole.

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. the breakfast was very good and the style was modern and up to newest standards. unfortunately our air condition did not work properly, it was very hot at that time and the windows could not be opened. after a few discussions the staff gave us a key for opening the windows and afterwards everything was fine. the hotel lies in walking distance to viking lines ferry - in case you plan to move on to tallinn afterwards. all in all definitely recommendable.

Es war ein sehr unkonventionelles ambiente (ehemaliges gefängnis), das einem in positiver erinnerung bleiben wird. das design der zimmer ist toll und schön. erst 2007 renoviert worden. der service war toll, mir wurden im schrank vergessene kleider nach deutschland gesendet. immer wieder gerne!

Easy to get to town, interesting if somewhat controversial premise as a former prison, the room is completely modern except for windows with no view except for the sky, but the rest of the hotel is engaging.
