The staff that we encountered where warm and helpful, the room was comfortable, the hotel looked as though some tlc wouldn't go amiss. the lift was rather worrying, said it could take 4 people and my husband and i are not big people, and it would not have taken 2 more. breakfast was lovely. one thing that did concern us in the event of a fire the stairs are not immediatley evident and the bannister is not sturdy.
