We picked this hotel due to its proximity to our son's family's home in brookfield and due to its price. as our ratings show, this is the first hotel we will price the next time we visit our son's family. (should probably add that we only used the room and restaurant--not the pool, exercise equipment, or anything else.) and, yes, the free cookies given at check-in lived up to their reputation.

I was in town for two nights on business. i was greeted in a warm way (with a warm chocolate chip cookie) and my check-in was painless. the room was as expected, nice and clean, quiet and comfortable. my only complaint is the in-room air conditioning / heat unit which is in the wall and either kept the room too hot or too cold, never really ideal. it's possible that this is being fixed as there was a thermostat on the wall which was not yet turned on.. maybe they are fixing this issue? otherwise, great location close to the highway. solid restaurant options very close by, and great accomodations.
