Great hotel

During our stay here in august 2011 we took advantage of the hotel's superb location opposite victoria station in order to use the tube & overland trains.the hotel is very clean, the staff are most friendly & the breakfast is extensive- both continental & full english. my husband requested porridge & even this was on offer.all this was included in the price- we stayed here using the wonderful discount offer i received from hotels click. this gave us 4 nights in an executive room with full breakfast for £420, exceptional value in such a prime location. we shall certainly stay here again in february 2012 if hotels click can offer a similar bargain!!

Piacevole esperienza

Ottimo hotel ! personale cortese e disponibile, camere pulite, colazione eccellente , posizione fantastica , ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo . la vicinanza con victoria station permette l'accesso a tutti i punti strategici della città ed è a meno di 200 metri dalla fermata dei bus che provengono da stansted . quando ritornerò a londra, sarà di nuovo il mio hotel !

Acceptable, but expensive

Compared with the price it was to expensive for private people. perfect for buisness. our fridge didn't work and the reception didn't succeed in fixing it during our stay for two nights. not good enough! but perfect place. maybe some offers around 100 £ a night, and we will visit in the future, and recomend it to friends and family. it would be our firstemmig choice in the future then :d

Hotel near victoria station

Nice modern room with large window. we had a smoking room. window could open. luggage store room. good breakfast. we got our room at 10 o'clock in the morgning. superb. nice shower and coffemaker in the room.

Staying at the hesperia

This hotel is numero uno when it comes to convenient location!! getting off the gatwick express at victoria [we flew in to gatwick from jersey[] the hotel is located literally across the road, so very convenient to drop off luggage and straight into town! the fact that the shows billy elliot and wicked were on our doorstep was brilliant as we had tickets for both of these.rooms were very comfortable and the staff quite happy to provide extra tea/milk for the room. breakfast was excellent..there was everything one could want and the service and attention by the waiters was very good. this hotel is definitely one i would recommend to anyone going to london foe what ever reason!

Nh hotel = no heat, no hotwater, no help!!!

I brought my family here for an xmas vacation and booked two rooms for three days. in one room there was no heat for two days. in the ohter room there was no hotwater, or any water on several occasions. we reported these issues to the front desk and they were of no help!!! will never use the hesperia london victoria hotel or any nh hotel for that matter.

A few days in london

This hotel is perfect for those travelling to and from gatwick. it is also well placed for siteseeing. the rooms are large enough and clean. the breakfast choice is good. room service was very quick. however, i had a reading lamp the blew whilst i was reading one night and a kettle that did not always work. the lamp was replaced and the kettle wasn't. the worst thing was when i opened the top draw one morning and the whole thing tipped over sending my mug of tea spilling into the draw and on my clothes. i was eventually compensated. however, this took alot of explanation and wasn't very graciously done. reception staff need to take a tip from the breakfast staff and smile a whole lot more! i would still recommend the hotel.

Short break away

I thought that overall it was a good hotel, and i would deffinately stay again because of the location. the breakfast was very nice which had a good selection of food, although sometimes the plates were cold. the room was nice, and simple. but one of the main problems was the noise at night time, (building/collection and depost of bins/transport). it is good if you want to bring your laptop as they supply you with free internet, but the problem was it kept going off which got very frustrating.

Fantastico...e da ritornarci

04/08-08/08/2010, io 30 la mia lei 26..hotel molto bello e pulito, a differenza di molti che hanno detto il contrario, magari la palestra è da rivedere, ma per posizione e comodità penso sia uno dei migliori (stanza n° 418) di fronte a 50 passi forse meno la victoria station, con quella giri ovunque per il mangiare nessuno lo dice nelle recensioni, ma se avete la colazione inclusa beh è molto buona, altrimenti come uscite c'è solo l'imbarazzo della scelta, solo in victoria station ci saranno 40 locali piu tutto il resto, non si muore di fame, e cmq a modici prezzi. a pochi passi e neanche me ne sono accorto sarà 5 minuti mi sono ritrovato a piedi a buckingham palace, piu altre cose vicinissime, torno a ripetere l'hotel è in una buona posizione. da raccomandare fate la tessera zona 1 e 2 per la metro che ha un costo di circa 27 sterline , ve lo consiglio perchè è valuida anche per i bus e altre cose.. molte persone fanno i singoli biglietti.. io ci avrei lasciato 500 sterline se avessi dovuto prendere i singoli biglietti per tutte le tratte che ci siamo fatti. spero di aver detto tutto o quanto meno cio che serve come primo approccio per londra. la recensione che ho scritto è una delle piu complete per chi cerca info su hotel e dintorni come cibo e mezzi. cosa invece che nessuno scrive e che io ritengo molto importante visto che il cambio sterlina eoru non è favorevole. ps: fate acquisti su sport ed altro da sports direct, ha prezzi stracciati, non li troverete in italia prezzi simili. invece da harrods andateci ,ma giusto per curiosità, capirete all'interno il perchè. bye bye and good vacations!!!

Si, effettivamente le 4 stelle le merita tutte!!! l'unico neo è rappresentato dal fatto che l'albergo è praticamente attaccato alla stazione (victoria station).

Tennis trip

Central location for wimbledon tennis and buckingham palace. disappointed no longer has swimming pool but grandson loved the gym. breakfast time very busy but organized. excellent theatre food menu available.

A short stay

Very good location, room clean, staff very polite and helpful,we asked to change room after the first night as were at the front and found it a bit noisy this was no problem and were given a nice double room at the back we slept really well in a nice comfortable bed. breakfast good and waitress kelly very attentive. would stay again.

Wicked!

Booked the hesperia as its a good spanish chain i had had good experiences with and it was ideally located opposite the victoria theatre for our show - wicked, which was wicked! its a nice hotel, some things are a little dated and perhaps a little tired but still clean contemporary and overall pleasant stay.

Comfortable stay

The hotel was fab. staff were very friendly, hotel location was great for getting around. room was lovely and breakfast the next day was great. however hotelsclick.com was not. we had contacted the hotel to conifrm and ask a query giving all our booking details, however they did not have record of us so requested us to contact our provider ie hotelsclick. however we could not contact them. we tried phoning, when we did finally get through somebody hung up on us, i sent an email, i am still waiting froma reply from them and after waiting more than 40 mins for a reply from livechat none came. i would seriously think twice about using this service as they are impossible to contact.

A room with a view
