L'hotel è in una posizione comodissima e centrale. si possono raggiungere a piedi le vie principali vaci utca, raday utca e il quartiere ebraico. nei dintorni ci sono molti bistrot dove si può mangiare bene a prezzi ragionevoli. è pulito e silenzioso. piacevoli anche gli arredi e interni in generale.

Sono stata in questo hotel per tre notti. l'albergo è centralissimo, a due passi dalla grande sinagoga. la metro è proprio sotto l'hotel e da qui puoi raggiungere con facilità tutte le zone di pest. per andare a buda basta attraversare il ponte delle catene a piedi e prendere il tram n 16 che ti porta direttamente sulla collina del castello.ho preso una camera executive che era spaziosa e pulita e affacciava sulla strada principale. la colazione davvero ottima, varia e abbondante. consiglio vivamente quest'hotel per posizione, cortesia, pulizia e colazione.

Central location exceptional price but still no decent soaps and shampoo toilet paper from the old communist era decent breakfast but it seems ther are not fresh rolls and vegetables every day

We booked in february two nights at the astoria, 21-22 april and 28-29 april. the first visit was fine as the hotel is very well-located. on the second saturday, however, we arrived tired after a long journey to find that our 'confirmed' booking had not been honoured and that the hotel was full. they arranged for us to be moved to another hotel, the much superior 4-star nh budapest and paid for a taxi to get us there, but this was an extremely shabby and unprofessional way to treat visitors.
