Pais €145 for the room and breakfast(saturday night), didn't have any view out the window but the room was lovely, and by norwegian prices this was a bargain. the little girl in the breakfast room was fantastic the next morning and was one of the nciest breakfast buffets i've eaten at.

This was our first time at the hotel continental, but it will sure not be the last. we had asked for a room with view but with no noise from traffic, and had booked a deluxe room. we were given a room on 7th floor with nice view of the national theatre, and the room was very big with a small lounge and king sized bed. they should have a one piece madrass in such a room, as ours was two big beds put together with quite a big gap.. madrasses were really nice though - the best i have slept in at a hotel. bathroom also very big with tub, shower, bidet and robes. couldn't have asked for more. we will also recommend their restaurant eik annen etage at the hotel. fantastic food and service! our third year with christmas dinner here turned out to be our best ever! both the hotel and restaurant had managed to fullfil our request regarding room and table.

Ideal location, good breakfast selection. room was better than expected and maids turned the beds down at night. more towels than we could use and the shower pressure was great. don't agree the hotel is 5 star due to lack of leisure facilities but it is a 4+.
