Great location.

The catamaran resort is a wonderful place to stay if you and your family are visiting san diego. it is a short trip from the airport, downtown area, balboa park, and sea world. the resort is family friendly with a beautiful pool and lush grounds. the bay is accessible right from the hotel, and the beach is a short walk from the resort. all the staff are very kind and courteous. the food at the restaurant and bar area is excellent, but like any resort, a little pricy. the rooms are a little outdated but still very clean and comfortable.

Location, location, location!

When visiting sd, you must stay at the conveniently located catamaran resort & hotel. both restauants and local businesses are within walking distance. the tower offers excellent views of the bay and ocean, and the lush tropical grounds lead to various coy and duck ponds as well as the nice sized pool. staff is very friendly-we will stay again at the catamaran!

Very good location and nice resort

I had a great time. the resort is located exactly in the middle between the ocean and the bay. my first room wasn't so good, i asked to change and the other was totally better! the restaurant is also very good, even a little expensive!
