The hotel has a very good location, very central and close to everything. many shopping possibilities. loved the area, danube right at the back, not very noisy from the traffic outside. close walk to some of the main attractions like thermal bath gellert (recommended!!). the room was spacious, but as we were 3 adults we were very disappointed to learn that the third bed was one of those unfolds which is not very comfortable. the room was clean, but the bathroom was dirty. the floor was poorly cleaned (there was a piece of gum stuck to the floor which could easily have been cleaned with slight effort. also there was snot at the wall). the standard of the hotel is very good, and seems like it is a very well known hotel to the locals. beautiful dark interior. staff is very friendly and helpful. slightly difficult to get around to breakfast and their restaurant. for breakfast i recommend the "restaurant" that you walk straight in to from the lobby. good and fast service. the other one that you have to walk across the hall to is slow with bad service and selection at the buffet. try the buddha bar restaurant, great food! the spa is quite small, it can get very awkward if there are more than 5 people there at the same time. we had massages as well, not the best. room service is great! recommend the american cheese cake! :) have to mention that i expected there to be some advantages from staying at the hotel regarding availability and access to their premises like buddha bar and the restaurant. all in all a good hotel, depending on what you are searching for, but if you are keen to have access to a spa at your hotel wouldn't recommend buddha bar. there are some other in the same price range and standard that can deliver better.
