Pro: location (between bourbon st & jackson square);friendly staff;clean rooms con: a little pricey epecially when factoring in valet service note: this place is supposed to be haunted. i usually don't pay attention to such things, but we did suffer from 3 dead usb cables and on the second day of the stay i felt a sudden chill in my bones. it turns out the room thermostat was mysteriously set to 64.5 deg f. draw your own conclusions.

Definitely would recommend staying here. staff is so nice and room was quiet and comfy. we were nervous that it would be noisy as it's so close to bourbon st but it was great!

Just returned from a three night stay at this hotel located in the heart of the frenchquarter. excellent friendly service. deluxe king room on the 3rd floor overlooking the courtyard. very comfortable and pretty view. quiet at night. slept well. all of the staff went the extra mile to make our visit enjoyable. great location to walk everywhere for food, shopping and entertainment. hotel bar is friendly and fun. will be our choice of hotel for future visits to new orleans. would not recommend for young children unless part of a wedding party.

My husband and i stayed at this lovely hotel last week. we arrived at 9 am, well before check in. our room was not ready, but we were able to stash our bags and grab some breakfast. by the time we were finished, the hotel had texted to let us know that our room was ready. the hotel itself is lovely, with a beautiful lobby and pool area. the room was very nicely updated, comfortable bed and nice linens. the bathroom was fine with the exception of the exhaust fan, which was motion activated and shut off after one minute. not a huge problem, but the bathroom always steamed up during showers since the fan shut off automatically. would definately stay here again, and would highly recommend to others!

My husband and i really enjoyed our stay at the bourbon orleans hotel. the hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating, the rooms were very clean (although a little small), and the pool was a great place to relax away from the bustle of the city. we requested a higher floor to stay away from the noise of the street and we ended up with a courtyard view on the 4th floor. we couldn't have been happier with the room. a friend of mine had stayed at the bourbon orleans hotel before and complained about noise from the streets keeping her up, but we had no problems at all. i definitely recommend trying for the courtyard view to keep you away from the street noise. the best part of the hotel was the location. we walked everywhere!

We stayed at the bourbon orleans for the last part of our honeymoon! it was an excellent hotel a 1/2 block away from bourbon street! we were close to everything! the room service was fast and everyone was friendly and accomodating. there is a pool that i didn't get to use, but was open late (11pm!) the concierges are super knowledgable and i highly recommend you talk to them before booking any sort of tour! they know the good and the not so good and can even make arrangements for you! i would definitely stay at the hotel again and recommend to all my friends and family!

Absolutely loved the hotel! it has a classic new orleans feel and fits right in with the style and architecture of the french quarter district. it blends the classic style with all of the necessary modern amenities: the rooms and bathrooms are clean, upto date and provide services like free wifi and valet parking at a decent price. the hotel staff was very helpful with all of the questions i had. i would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, with a majority of the employees very helpful. we had 2 issues with the room. first it was next to the service elevator so we were constantly disturbed during the evening and the toilet would not stop running. ended up shutting the water supply off until morning. other than that, the location is excellent. we were able to relax in the hotel bar and watch the "entertainment" on bourbon street and it was in close proximity to jackson square and french market.
