Excellent location

A great hotel in a perfect location approx 5 mins form the rialto bridge and in the opposite direction approx 3 mins to st mark's square.

Baron of belmonte's view

Very well placed for visit to the city. they could improve on the break fast tea and coffee. rooms comfortable. safe difficult to set as text in package did not apply to safe in room. otherwise a good located and comfortable hotel

Past its best

This is the smallest double room we have ever stayed in. around 3m x 3m with a cupboard in the corner which was the bathroom? apparently this was a typical room for this hotel. everything was past its best with the bed being the most uncomfortable ever. we had a very expensive meal in the hotel restaurant and i had food poisoning the next day. luckily we were travelling home early and i didnt get sick till i was back in the uk. the staff, however, were amongst the friendliest we encountered during our stay in venice.

Long weekend in venice

The hotel was lovely; the room was not huge but was big enough. large bed with a sumptuous bathroom. the only down side was that we overlooked the canal (great) but also where all of the rubbish was left for collection - bit smelly, quite noisy and not pretty.

Considero que este hotel es buenisimo.el trato ha sido genial,las habitaciones muy agradables.por la manana t hacian la habitacion y por la noche te destapaban la cama y te ponian una especie de alfombrita de tela para cuando te levantabas.el desayuno americano delicioso abundante y muy variado (frutas,bacon,fiambre,huevos revueltos,embutidos,pasteles,mucha variedad de zumosetc...)en una sala cerrada o bien en una terraza que daba sobre un canal y a la calle. bastante facil para llegar al hotel.puedes coger del aeropuerto un vaporetto o bien un autobus y despues un vaporetto urbano.realmente el hotel esta a dos minutos andando de la piazza san marco,preguntar en cualquier lado, todo el mundo lo conoce y llegas enseguida. el hotel ofrece una excursion gratuita a murano.nos recogieron en el hotel y nos llevaron a ver una fabrica de cristal. puede parecer un poco caro, pero por el precio que encontre para los demas hoteles merece la pena.nosotros no encontramos la oferta del anexo,asi que estuvimos en el central un poco mas caro pero increible con zapatillas y albornoz!!! si vuelvo a venezia intentare estar en el mismo hotel.

The service and staff at reception not very helpful, standard double rooms, very very small not very clean, bathrooms very poor condition and dated, i would not recommend this hotel to anyone. not a very happy stay

Ideal hotel in the centre of venice

Half way between st mark's square and the rialto bridge. clean hotel in excellent location. rooms rather small (or was bed rather big?) don't use shuttle service to hotel. don't use water-bus to/from airport. do share a water-taxi from airport to st. mark's square (100 euros for 5 people, then 20 euros per extra person). do buy a water-bus pass for 12,24,36,72 hours :)

Suberb location!

Wonderful location for venice. rooms on the small side; but usual for a european city. :) good breakfast and very pleasant surroundings.
