Nice hotel

This hotel is well run and has a friendly and helpful staff. breakfast included yogurt, cold cereal, hot pancakes, bagels, pastry, toast, juice, coffee, instant oatmeal, and then alternated every other day with either fried eggs and biscuits and gravy or an egg and bacon thing (don't know what it is called, but it was good) and hash browns. on saturday there was also bacon. the main breakfast room is small, so they have added another room nearby with more seating. the hotel is on a main road that could get noisy in the mornings, but the hotel offers complimentary ear plugs or a white noise machine to help light sleepers. on the other side of the main road is the yacht club, so the view is of the ocean and many boats. there was free parking, much of which was covered parking which was nice for keeping our vehicle cooler. the pool is smallish, but who cares when there is ocean nearby. it was a short drive to restaurants, mission beach, and point loma. our room was clean, although a poor paint job in the bathroom made it look cheap. the beds were comfortable and the room was good sized.
