A short stay

You get what you pay for. i needed a place to stay for few hours as my flight was midnight. i found this hotel on hotelsclick shown as 4* hotel and for a very good price (17.00 us$ ). i checked in at 2 p.m. the room was very basic, weak internet, smelly, and the a/c was not cooling. i complaint to the reception and they said that this is the room which was booked by hotelsclick. when i informed them that i'm staying only for seven hours as my flight is at midnight and i'll check out at 9 p.m. they gave me a better room. so the staff is the only positive thing i can say about this hotel. but it was cheap and ok. for few hours.

It might have been 4 stars in the past but some have fallen away

Each piece of furniture in the room contained burn marks and was heavily gouged. the patio doors when locked still left a considerable gap for mozzies to fly in. you can walk around the pool but be careful of the broken planks in the decking, it would be nice to relax next to the pool but the banana lounges were broken; but you could watch the rats frolic in the garden beds. the hotel has a significant number of local work group tours and school students so the karaoke till 11pm was hurt to cope with when you're on another time zone and the students yelling up and down the corridor was annoying. the breakfast was an asian style buffet with 5 choices and as a concession to the the westerners in the hotel there was bread that could be toasted and chocolate cereal. this hotel would effect the swiss-belhotel brand and needs a complete quality control audit. given the advertised price you can find better value elsewhere.
