The receptionist was courteous giving us a room on the quiet side of the bulding for my aged mother's good night sleep. however, the toilet kept making dripping sound all night. also for the hotel of this class, the toilet bin had a big stain.

A peaceful, centrally located smaller hotel with tasteful danish styling. efficient reception, with a locked baggage room if required. the buffet breakfast was delicious, complete with danish pastries. staff were polite and almost invisible, which was very relaxing, though if needed, responded immediately. great value for money. if only more hotels were like this!

Sono stata ospite dell’hotel alexandra dal 26 al 29 novembre 2009. l’albergo ha abbondantemente soddisfatto le mie aspettative!!! la posizione è favolosa, a 200 metri dal palazzo del municipio e dalla famosissima via pedonale stroget. non abbiamo mai preso un mezzo pubblico, né un taxi: tutto è raggiungibile a piedi. in 10 minuti di piacevole passeggiata nelle strade pedonali, piene di negozi, si arriva al famoso nyhavn, e da lì al palazzo reale eccetera. la camera, da me richiesta con letti separati, era molto spaziosa e ben arredata, molto pulita e attrezzata con stirapantaloni, bollitore ecc. colazione abbondante presso il ristorante dell’hotel, con buffet caldo e freddo, dolce e salato. non consiglio il ristorante per cena: menù limitatissimo e troppo pretenzioso. non fatevi ingannare dall’adesivo delle guide michelin! unica pecca dell’hotel: il riscaldamento era altissimo, e con la finestra aperta i rumori del weekend erano fastidiosi. consiglio vivamente questo hotel, che rispetto agli altri ha tariffe più abbordabili ed è davvero impareggiabile per posizione e comodità! faccio presente che si trova a 50 metri dai famosi, e molto più costosi, the square e palace.
