A clean modern stylish hotel with a great varied breakfast and friendly reception and breakfast room staff. the hotel is not central to the major tourist attractions, but is only a short walk from the nearest s-bahn station which is around 10 minutes journey into central berlin, i think there was also a bus route which went past the hotel. lots of very nice restaurants in the surrounding streets leading up to savignyplatz. my only gripe is the room although modern was a bit sterile with too many hard surfaces, and would benefit from some softer furnishings (e.g. a comfy chair) and the hard flooring meant that i was awoken early two mornings in a row by people in the room above walking across their room. given the main purpose of a hotel is to ensure its residents get a good night's sleep, the hard flooring seems a counter-productive choice, form over function so to speak. gripe aside, i would definitely stay there again as it was great value overall.
