Very pleased

Being a student on a tight budget, i often sacrifice quality of a hotel room for an affordable price. after finding a great deal for two nights at windtower, we had decided to book and despite the nice pictures, expected a below average room. however were pleasantly surprised! our room was clean and updated and had a sliding door that led to our own patio with a beatiful view of the mountains. the staff was very friendly and even gave free breakfast vouchers for the two mornings even though through our order, we weren't supposed to get complementary breakfasts. what made this freebie even better was just how delicious the buffet ended up being! all of the staff was extremely kind and helpful. the only downside to our stay was that although we were booked in a "no pet' room, there apparently were pet friendly rooms available in the lodge. we would see dogs in the main lobby and they would bark and walk down our hallway. i happen to be very allergic to animals which triggers my asthma and ended up getting sick on the first night. the rooms and hallways were partially carpeted so i can see how the fur and dander could linger and be transferred. we were also looking forward to utilizing the hottub after going white water rafting but it was closed for maintenance on our second night there. apart from that, this was a great stay for an awesome price.
