We spent 5 days there and had a restful, lovely stay. the room was large, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast filling. the breakfast had different things to choose from every day, along with some that remained the same. we enjoyed the made-to-order sopes, quesadillas, huaraches. you can swim in the pool in the middle of the hotel or walk a couple blocks to the ocean and swim at the playa chahue and then their latitude 15 private pool by the ocean, which we enjoyed while having refreshments there. the outdoor restaurant there looked good, but we were not hungry when we were there. the beach there is a little rough, but the hotel is walkable to playa santa cruz (i think) which is just north. we went to 6 beaches while there, all easy to get to by taxi. most taxi drivers were honest and only twice did they over quote the price. taxi prices are posted on some sidewalks, and the people at the front desk usually know their rates. it was easy to walk to la crucecita and superche supermarket from the hotel.
