L'hotel Trident e' sede dello Yachting International, dove si puo' noleggiare uno yacht e navigare lungo la costa sud occidentale dell'Irlanda. Attrezzature per lo svago includono suana, palestra, camera del vapore e jacuzzi. (08/07RT) Would not rush back. was a poor alternative for original hotel selected.
Via hotelsclick.com we booked actons hotel in kinsale, but nearly 2 weeks later (when we were already travelling) we received notification that they could not fulfill the booking and that we'd been moved to the trident instead. it transpires that the 2 hotels are sister hotels and that actons had just been renovated and made into a spa hotel (being a spa hotel was one of the reasons we chose this hotel) and had special deals on for the re-opening. the price we paid for our actons booking was actually more than their special re-opening prices! the trident is old, very tired hotel, with a hot stuffy and noisy room (above a fan), a bathroom that was scruffy and not in great shape - staff who were unhelpful (reception, bar and breakfast). not what we expected for our stay in kinsale. the fact that the price for our booking was unchanged, we feel that we did not get a good deal at all. it's not clear to us who the actons cancellation came from - the hotel or hotelsclick.
