As is most everything, the location is just a few blocks distance from the train station. good value. my main concern with the other locations of tierra viva hotels - no in room controllable air conditioning....although, this one at least had a window to open! :)

Easy to find, nice breakfast, clean rooms with great view. easy walk to restaurants and plaza de armas. but you have to hike a short hill back.
