Rathbone hotel

Excellent hotel in london's west end, very comfortable and surrounded by places to eat and drink. perfect for our 4 day stay over new year, we were made very welcome. looking forward to returning.

A nice hotel

It was my first stay at the rathbone, but definitely not the last. there's a good atmosphere at the hotel and the district is interesting. besides it's close to soho.

Quiet west end location

We were very happy with our 5 night stay at the rathbone. it is a great boutique hotel in a sensational position for the west end, sight seeing and shopping. the tube station was also only a 3min walk away. the reception staffs were very helpful and courteous. the breakfast was fresh and in a lovely setting. i was staying with my daughter in a room that could be semi adjoined to another which would be ideal for a 4 person family. i would highly recommend the rathbone

A great find

I booked a twin room at the rathbone for a saturday night at £128 (special offer). compared to premier inn and travelodge rooms at over £100 i thought this was reasonable. particularly as the hotel was fantastic. the staff at check in/out were friendly and efficient. the hotel had loads of character and interesting furniture, including really comfy beds and pillows, fantastic dresser and ornate mirrow. the bathroom, which was a little dated even had a bidet! continental breakfast was included, and was of a high standard (croisants, pastries, fresh meat, chorizo, cheeses, fruit salad, cereals, toast, spreads, juices, tea, fresh coffee and hot chocolate) and the staff were polite and provided a great service. charlotte street is a great location, quite stylish and full of quirky restaurants and bars. we feel really lucky that we sacked off premier inn for £20 extra and enjoyed a touch of luxury.

Ruby wedding bliss!!

We booked the rathbone for our parent's ruby wedding anniversary and they were hihghly delighted. having already stayed at the hotel ourselves, we already knew the standard of the hotel was exceptional. a really nice touch, above and beyond what we expected was the complimentary boxes of chocolate left in their room on arrival. little things like that go a long way and we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anybody. the location means that theatre land is but a ten minute walk away - an ideal location also for exploring london.

Excellent situation, not so good service

This hotel has a very good situation, really, and a excellent price, but we must say that two thinks moderates our opinion : first : we had a very noisy room, with mecanical noise all night long ; they never wanted to change our room second : internet problem with the reception : they charged us twice and never wanted to consider that they made a mistake

Lovely location!

Nice hotel in a lovely area, the staff seemed rather forgetful and didn't for example pre-order the taxi i had asked them to order, which is very irritating when you are in a hurry to get to the airport.they often forgot breakfast orders.

Staying in theatre land

The rathbone hotel is a quiet sophisticated yet friendly hotel, within easy reach of the london theatres and oxford street. friendly & efficient staff, well appointed rooms and good food make the stay at the rathbone enjoyable.

+
