Booked 4 nights at the knickerbocker in nyc and it was the best hotel experience ever. the staff were friendly and helpful. the room service was good and efficient. room was clean and decent size for nyc. we couldn't have asked for a better location either- in the heart of time square. we will definitely stay here again in the future.

In nyc for a week on business and needed a hotel near the theater district. perfect location for guests wanting to be near times square. first impression was rough - no doorman or bellman to assist with baggage. front desk staff did not meet 4 or 5 star standards. not able to check in until 4pm due to delay with housekeeping. the hotel itself is lovely - spacious rooms filled with thoughtful design and nice amenities. charlie palmer restaurant on the 4th floor was ok - recommended for a quick bite and drink at the bar. the cloud offers beautiful views, specialty cocktails and attentive service. promising property if service is improved by front desk.

The focus and attention to all the little things in a room was tremendous. i was particularly impressed by the amount toiletry items that were available in the room. my personal favorite was the tide stain remover stick that i had a need for upon arrival. overall, very impressive.

Knickerbocker hotel was fabulous. sleek modern design on the inside with historic charm on the outside. hotel is well above the standards of many other hotels. attention to the smallest details. well thought out layout lending to convenience on many fronts. pros: -large room, tons of space -huge bathroom. double sinks, vanity, lots of counter space. frosted glass enclosed rainfall shower with room for 6+. toilet area was behind frosted glass door. -remote control blackout blinds -touch lighting by beds and by the exit door that controlled entire hotel room lighting -great temperature control which was very quiet -comfy bed and pillows -large wall mounted flat screen tv. digital channel guide on tv. -super friendly, reliable and knowledgable staff -lovely restaurant with excellent food -located right in the heart of times square, but you hear none of it inside hotel room -sleek, modern and clean hotel -rooftop bar and lounge opening soon. cons: -small lobby
