The cliff bay hotel is an excellent hotel. the staff are all most helpful and friendly and go the extra mile to make your holiday the most enjoyable. the rooms are spacious and have a great view - the bedroom we were allocated had views from the room and balcony over the atlantic ocean and the funchal port. the breakfast was absolutely excellent with an extensive choice of every possible item anyone could wish for.
