Pretty good time at hotel taylor
My husband and i are from denmark, although i am originally from long island. i was a bit skeptical when i arrived. i am used to staying in the hilton and the marriott, but we were on a budget. this hotel is fine. i had no complaints at all. it is definately clean, the service is fine, and it met all of our needs, which was a clean, comfortable place to stay while we visited paris. two things that i had a little problem with were the size of the bed, and the area. however, my husband stated that the bed size is standard in paris. the area, although very central, was going through a bit of construction. other than that, i didn't feel threatened and there was hardly any noise at night. there were no surprises when we got there. no bugs. no crazy elevator stories. no mean receptionists. no hassle. breakfast consisted of a small croissant, a little chocolate chip croissant, a mini-baguette, a glass of juice, and a cup of coffee. also, one thing that i was happy about was that even though check-out was 11 a.m., we were able to put our bags in a secure room located next door to the hotel. we received a pin code and were able to walk around, and eat until we left for the airport. note: i would not leave my valuables in there. even though i checked my bag to make sure everything was still there, it would not be wise to leave your camera, jewelry, passport, money, etc. unattended. i would recommend anyone who is on a budget to stay there. it is a great location, very clean and basic for those who want to see the sites and just need a place to stay.
