Bad hotel, big disapointment
Tatari 53 is an ugly building "in the middle of nowhere". my window looked at two chimneys of an abandened factory. i booked and paid it as a 3 star hotel, but it is hardly 1 to 2 stars by eurpean standards. first of all, it is a long walk to the old town, about three bus or tram stations, that is about 15 minutes walk. i bought the 5 day ticket for local transport. the staff only is good, kind and pleasant. a single standard room is without safe, without mini bar, without tea/coffee facilities and without hair-dryer (which you get upon request). you usually get all this in the 3 star hotel. i am travelling all over the world, but i've never experienced something like that! breakfast is very bad and simple. no hot breakfast, of course, no real orange juice, some kind of coloured water. bad quality of salami and cheese. just brown bread and toast, no croissants. no honey. yogourth is not bad, the only exception. i had it instead of juice. very bad supply in the bathroom. no toiletteries, not even shampoo. just the liquid soap! otherwise clean, but everything in the room used. a "prehistoric" tv with many programmes (mostly in russian), but bad quality of picture and sound. also some programmes in english. the chamber-maid obviously just changes the towels, she doesn't touch the bed, which you have to make by yourself. shame for you to have such hotel in your offer! i paid it around 42 euros, which is not so high, but some months ago i paid - by booking. com, i think - the 4 star hotel bern in the very center of tallinn around 48 euros - but it was really much, much better. so, never again to "tatari 53"! i don't propose it to your clients. and never again with you, if you are continuing to offer such bad hotels!
